Mary

In a spectacular fantasmagorical 
That was 

Quite unlike her life
(ok nothing like her life)

She had

No voice 
(no surprise there it was the 80’s afterall and we preferred our Mary silent then)

Simply embodied
She embodied

And I wondered what
 It would have been like 
To be her

Bringing so much light 
Into so much darkness
